  • Eleanor - Red Flower

When I first decided to honor my late husband’s memory with a handcrafted piece of glass, I never imagined how moving and beautiful the result would be. This piece is more than just a vessel—it’s a work of art that holds not only his ashes but also my love and cherished memories. The craftsmanship is extraordinary. Every curve and detail reflecting care and precision. The way light dances through the glass gives it a luminous, ethereal quality, making it feel alive with his presence. It brings me a deep sense of comfort, as if a part of him is still here with me, displayed in a way that’s both subtle and meaningful. This is not just an object—it’s a part of my healing journey, a tangible reminder of a love that endures. For anyone considering something similar, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Thank you so much, Ian.

  • Claire Tozer - Touch Stone

I am lucky enough to witness the start of Ian’s journey with Red Robin Memorial Glass. There is nobody who could have put more thought, time and skill into these beautiful glass treasures. Ian is a highly talented Glass Blower and I wholeheartedly recommend his wonderful glassmaking to anyone looking to purchase a special piece. The memorial glass pebbles, especially, are such a special token of commemoration for anyone who has lost someone dear to them and are looking for a special keepsake that they can, literally, have-and-hold to be close to that person. I would have no hesitation in contacting Ian to purchase a piece of his beautiful glass work or enquiring about a bespoke piece too.

  • Jennifer Swaine - Galaxy

I found Red Robin through my daughter who showed me the galaxy piece and I immediately knew it was perfect to memorialise my father. I wanted something to remember how unique my dad was and I wanted something to reflect our changing relationship over the course of our lives.

Ian did an incredible job creating something beautiful I can treasure and I often times find myself captivated by the piece and reflecting on my memories with my dad. If you look long enough, it really does seem like the ashes move within the glass as your eyes move and the detail is amazing!

I would recommend Ian to anyone who is looking to create something that helps with the grief of losing someone.
