These glass pebbles, with the ashes of your loved one encased within, are made to be held. With a contoured shape that comfortably fits in the palm of your hand. The colours that streak across the surface create subtle ripples, which add a tactile texture to the smooth shape. They don’t tend to stay still in your hand, as you naturally turn them around and move your fingers over the surface.

In the same way that a beach pebble might remind you of a particular family day out, the idea behind these glass pebbles is to have an essence of somebody that you can hold on to. To keep them close. To hold them. With the pebbles being such a discreet size they can easily be slipped in to your pocket, so they can go anywhere with you without anyone else even knowing.

We had one client send a pebble to a family member who was abroad, having been unable to say their goodbyes. The pebble was then cast into the sea. With them having spent many happy days together, in and on the waves, it seemed just right.
